Coaching
Space to work through career decisions, leadership responsibilities, wellbeing and financial understanding.
Begin with what matters to you
You may be considering a new role, returning to work, developing as a leader or reviewing how work fits your life. Coaching starts with your situation and a goal we agree together.
Sessions create space for reflection, practical options and next steps. Your needs shape the approach; we review progress and adjust the focus as the work develops.
Choose your starting point
Leadership & Career Development
Explore how you want to lead and where you want your working life to go.
What we can work on: Leadership responsibilities, communication, career transitions, returning to work and choices about professional development.
Possible outputs: A personal development plan, transition priorities or practical steps to test a new direction. The scope and outputs are agreed for your engagement.
Women’s Wellbeing
Consider how professional responsibilities, personal priorities and caring pressures fit together.
What we can work on: Workload, boundaries, working habits and the changes that could make your everyday experience more sustainable.
Possible outputs: A priorities map, practical boundary-setting actions and a way to review what is working. The scope and outputs are agreed for your engagement.
Financial Coaching
Build confidence in organising financial information and thinking through your own priorities.
What we can work on: Financial habits, goals, questions and decisions during life or career changes, including a move towards self-employment.
Possible outputs: A planning worksheet, priorities map and action plan. The focus is education and coaching; it does not include recommendations to buy particular financial products. The scope and outputs are agreed for your engagement.
NLP Coaching
Explore a coaching approach that uses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to reflect on language, perspectives and habitual responses.
What we can work on: Agreed topics such as communication, personal goals and approaching change. We explain the approach and decide together whether it suits your needs.
Possible outputs: Personal reflection and agreed actions reviewed against your goals. NLP is an optional approach and is not assumed in every coaching engagement. The scope and outputs are agreed for your engagement.
What to expect
- Explore fit. Discuss what brings you to coaching and the support you are looking for.
- Agree the work. Set goals, session arrangements, fees and confidentiality boundaries.
- Reflect and act. Explore options and identify manageable actions between sessions.
- Review progress. Consider what has changed and whether the focus or approach needs adjusting.
Coaching supports personal and professional development. Health-specific needs or specialist financial questions may require an appropriately qualified professional.
Common questions
Do I need to arrive with a clear goal?
You can begin with a situation or question rather than a finished goal. The initial conversation helps clarify what matters to you and whether coaching is an appropriate way to explore it.
What happens in a coaching conversation?
You bring a topic to explore. The conversation can involve reflection, questions, considering different perspectives and identifying an action you want to take. The focus is agreed with you rather than imposed as a fixed programme.
Can coaching support a return to work?
Returning to work is one of the situations covered by Leadership & Career Development. Topics might include priorities, confidence in a new role, communication and how professional responsibilities fit with other commitments.
Will I need to do anything between sessions?
You may choose a reflection or practical action to try between conversations. Any action should fit your goals and circumstances; it is discussed with you rather than treated as a standard assignment.
Is NLP part of every coaching engagement?
No. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an optional approach. We explain how it may be used and discuss whether it is relevant to the goals you want to explore.
Will financial coaching tell me which investments to buy?
No. Financial Coaching focuses on financial organisation, habits, understanding and personal priorities. It does not include recommendations to buy particular financial products.
How is confidentiality handled when an organisation sponsors coaching?
The arrangement should establish the client’s goals, the sponsor’s role, confidentiality boundaries and any agreed reporting before sessions begin. Confidential session content is not a routine employer progress report.
Can I combine career and financial topics?
Yes. A transition can raise several connected questions. We agree a focus and identify where separate specialist support may be useful.
How many sessions will I need?
The number, duration and format are discussed after the initial conversation. We agree review points rather than promising a particular outcome.
